What Is the Weekly Drop?

Every week, when you level up your account (if you have Prime status), you get to choose two rewards out of four random options. These can be a case, graffiti, or a skin from one of seven collections.

Skins from the Ascent, Boreal, and Radiant collections are available only through weekly drops and cannot be obtained in any other way. However, they can be immediately sold or traded, as there’s no one-week trade restriction on weekly drop skins.

What Is the Ascent Collection?

The Ascent Collection consists of 28 different skins, most of which feature various shades of blue. Interestingly, this collection does not have a covert-tier skin. The grand prize is the only classified skin, M4A1-S Stratosphere, which, we must admit, looks amazing.

The collection also includes 2 Restricted (Purple) skins, 5 Mil-Spec (Blue) skins, 9 Industrial Grade (Light Blue) skins and 11 Consumer Grade (White) skins.

Best Skins in the Ascent Collection

Aside from M4A1-S Stratosphere, which is the rarest skin and features a stunning cosmic design, we also want to highlight P2000 Royal Baroque and Glock-18 Ocean Topo. These skins stand out among other starting pistol skins. The Restricted-tier (Purple) skins look interesting, but since AK-47 and USP-S already have skins in similar color schemes, they might not feel as unique.

Important: Right now, prices for skins from this and other new collections are inflated. If you’re looking to buy one, it’s better to wait a few days or even weeks for the market to stabilize.
